Online Group Yoga

Our online group yoga classes are run by Chartered physiotherapist and qualified yoga teacher Emma Lewis. Classes focus on biomechanics and alignment to ensure safety and foundation of practice but will also encourage you to explore and develop your own regular practice both on and off the mat.

Emma is a physiotherapist, yoga teacher and all round movement enthusiast with a passion for neurological rehabilitation. Her approach supports you to connect with, learn about and listen to you body in order to optimise your physical health and well being. Emma also offers 1-to-1, in-person physio-led yoga appointments and is covered by all major health insurance providers including BUPA and AXAPPP. Governing bodies: Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health Professions Council.

How to join the class.

Once you have booked a class you will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link for that class (if you don’t receive this please let us know at chris@ludgateclinic.co.uk, as it may have been blocked by your firewall).

You can also join via the ‘Online Stream’ tab for that class (listed beneath the calendar). If you’re not already signed into your account then you’ll need to do this first through the ‘My Account’ tab.

How to view your booked classes.

To view your booked classes click ‘My Account’ and ‘Schedule’. Once signed in you’ll be able to join the classes via the ‘Online Stream’ tab for that class (listed beneath the calendar).

Terms and conditions:

By booking an online yoga class you agree to inform Emma Lewis at emma@ludgateclinic.co.uk  prior to the class should you have any medical conditions.

You also confirm that you understand that Yoga includes physical movements as well as breathing techniques, mantra, meditation and relaxation. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If you experience any pain or discomfort, you will listen to your body, adjust the posture and ask for support from the teacher.

Where you are aware of any health issues you confirm that you have discussed them with you doctor who is happy for you to participate in Yoga, whether or not they are disclosed above and you take full responsibility for your health during the Yoga classes including any injuries.

Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. You affirm that you alone are responsible to decide whether to practice Yoga, either online or in person. You hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that you have now or hereafter may have against Emma Lewis.
